Wu Huaqiang Professor
Professor Wu Huaqiang is currently the dean of School of Integrated Circuits of Tsinghua University, the director of Nanofabrication Technology Center of Tsinghua University, and the deputy director of Beijing Innovation Center for Integrated Circuits. Before joining Tsinghua University, he was engaged in the research and development of nonvolatile memory in AMD company and Spansion company. His main research field is new type of semiconductor memory and computing in memory. He has been responsible for many projects such as NSFC, 863 program and 973 program. He has published more than 100 SCI papers in journals, such as Nature, Nature Electronics, and top international conferences on integrated circuits, such as ISSCC and IEDM, and was elected to be one of the top 100,000 scientists in the world. He has owned more than 100 authorized invention patents in U.S. and China, herein four patents being transferred to Beijing Xinyi technology co., LTD., 10 patents being transferred to xiamen semiconductor industry technology development co., LTD., realizing the industrialization of the resistance changing memory technology.He is the committee member of the 8th Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education, director of China Instrument and Control Society, associate editor of IEEE TCAS-II, and the member of IEEE EDS VLSI Technical Committee. He was selected into the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and won the first "XPLORER PRIZE" in 2019.
