Jing Wang is a doctoral supervisor. He received his Ph. D. degree in Materials Science from Beijing General Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals (GRINM) in 1999. From June 1995 to May 2005, he worked in GRINM and GRINM Semiconductor Materials Co., LTD. In June 2005, he joined the Institute of Microelectronics of Tsinghua University. He has been granted one second-class prize of Chinese National Award for Progress in Science and Technology, two first-class prizes of Beijing Science and Technology Award, and one first-class prize of Science and Technology Award of China Electronics Association. He has published more than 100 papers, applied for more than 150 Chinese and US patents, and leaded or participated in more than 10 national key projects.

Research Fields: Novel semiconductor materials and devices including SiC, GaN and SiGe materials and devices, Si-based novel electronic devices, etc.
