Dr. Jun Fu received the B.E. degree in semiconductor physics and devices from Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China, in 1992, and received the M.E. degree and Engineering Ph.D. degree in semiconductor devices and microelectronics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China, in 1998. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a post-doctor research fellow with Laboratory of Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM), Delft Institute of Microelectronics and Submicron Technology (DIMES), Delft University of Technology (TU-Delft), Delft, the Netherlands. From 2001 to 2006, he was with X-FAB semiconductor foundries AG, Erfurt, Germany, working as a process development project manager. Since 2006, he has been associate professor with Institute of Microelectronics, Tsinghua University (IMETU), now renamed School of Integrated Circuits, Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China. He has authored and coauthored over 70 papers with 14 Chinese patents and two U.S. patents authorized. His current research interest includes process development, device characterization, modeling and circuit design associated with SiGe HBT, SiGe BiCMOS, RF CMOS and SAW resonator etc. for Si-based microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuits.
